Pros: Large affordable apartment (due to reforms to rent stabilization laws) Cons: It has been at least 15 YEARS since the hallways and stairs have been painted. Owner installed new security system and mailboxes 3 years ago but they were never made functional. They remain untouched. Advice to landlord: Paint the interior stairways and halls. And sweep and mop the floors. Twice a year is not enough. And figure out the garbage. Twice a week the corner of the courtyard is piled 6 feet high with trash and recycling. This is not rocket science and it is an unsightly health hazard.
