Pros: Apartment has good space. Our unit was at the back of the building so it was very quiet. Roof has a lovely view. Barely had any pest problems. Good amenities Cons: Freestone is absolutely awful. Maintenance requests were usually dealt with timely thanks to the super but almost always a very subpar job. If they actually just got someone capable of doing the work the first time, we wouldn’t have to call multiple times over YEARS to get the same issue fixed. Good luck ever getting a solid answer from anyone in the management office. You’ll be added to an email thread and speak with 30 different people who never have any idea what’s going on. If I toured the perfect building but I saw it was owned by Freestone I would honestly strongly reconsider signing a lease there. Advice to landlord: Please for the love of god assign a couple people per building because going back and forth with a dozen people over email and phone makes absolutely no sense and is a waste of everyone’s time.

Pros: gym, quiet noise levels, in unit washer and dryer, in unit dishwasher, AC, newer interior Cons: No AC/heat output in 2 of the bedrooms. Rented as a 3 bed but 2 of the bedrooms are illegal. High rent for Ridgewood. Management does not respond PERIOD. You will have to email them nonstop for weeks to get a repsonse about anything you need. Repairs take 4-12 weeks. They send the super to "fix" things-aka apply bandaids. We didn't even have a super all summer and they admitted this to us. The basement flooded almost 5 weeks ago and they have done nothing. Advice to landlord: sell your properties

Pros: - Friendly and Peaceful Neighbors: One positive aspect of the property managed by Freestone Property Group is the presence of friendly and considerate neighbors. - Modern and Stylish Appliances: A notable advantage of the property is the presence of relatively new and stylish appliances. - Convenient On-Site Gym: The presence of a gym facility within the building is a definite advantage. Access to a fitness center without needing to travel elsewhere provides convenience and promotes a healthy lifestyle. - Availability of Bike Storage: While the bike storage room may be packed with items, the fact that there is a designated space for storing bicycles is a positive feature. It offers a secure area for residents to store their bikes, adding convenience and peace of mind. - Well-Located: The property managed by Freestone Property Group enjoys a favorable location. Cons: - Incompetent Workmanship: The teams assigned by Freestone Property Group to resolve the leak issue were shockingly inept. Instead of resolving the problem, their attempts exacerbated the situation and caused additional damages. Their lack of expertise and attention to detail raised serious concerns about their ability to handle basic maintenance tasks competently. Evidently, they lacked the necessary skills and experience to address such issues effectively. - Communication Breakdown: Freestone Property Group's communication left much to be desired. Their responsiveness was inconsistent, with unanswered messages and unreturned calls becoming the norm. The lack of clear and timely communication further added to the frustration of dealing with the unresolved leak problem. It was evident that they did not prioritize effective and open lines of communication with their tenants. - Neglected Trash Management: Another glaring issue was Freestone Property Group's negligence in handling regular trash collection. The accumulation of trash in front of the building was an ongoing problem, resulting in an unsightly and unhygienic environment. Their failure to maintain proper trash management demonstrated a lack of attention to basic cleanliness and tenant comfort. - Misleading Information on Outdoor Furniture: The real estate agent provided misleading information regarding the availability of outdoor furniture. It was never delivered as promised despite indicating that outdoor furniture would be provided. This miscommunication highlights the lack of coordination and reliability within the company.

Unit 3 Pros: The apartment itself is cute Cons: Management does not answer. They purposefully ignored us in September when we found dead body parts in our fridge from the last tenant, the unit has flooded 3x and no one will answer emails so we’re now living in a mold infested apartment, Erica and Dinara also allowed our fire alarm to continue blaring for over a month. Advice to landlord: My advice to Erica and Dinara is to quit. This clearly isn’t the right career for either of you. In order to be a property manager, you should.. wait for it.. need to manage your properties and their issues. Erica and Dinara are neglectful and lazy, they do not care about tenants or their safety.
