I loved the apartment, but managment is horrible. When it comes to siging new leases, they treat previous tenants like they don't care. They went around pounding on doors before a showing, and woke me up after I managed a 12 hour shift. I asked the reason for it and it was cus she smelt "smoke" on the floor. I let her come into my apartment, and there wasn'thing. Managment didnt apologize for waking us up when I had work soon. They lied to me and said cus no one lived on my side of the building. I have video proof of loud music and dogs barking. I have been at work and got calls from the apartment complex saying stuff is coming from my apartment yet no ONE WAS there!!! I have called and explained but they keep doing. Managment treats you like a number, and once you sign they don't care, and only care about bringing in new people and not caring about the previous tenants. So yes the place is nice, i love it! But dealing with managment here, isn't worth it. Going to check out the apartments across the street that are just as new.

don't MOVE HERE! The building was recently sold to Galil mgmt, formerly E&M mgmt. This company specializes in taking "under preforming" properties and increasing profitability. They hey have cut services (e.g., no longer clean the lobby). They have also removed the computer from the front desk. Rents have been raised in the middle of leases. There's no longer a on-site super. The previous, staff's super friendly is mostly gone. They have been replaced with new employees who have no ties to the residents. It's almost impossible to contact the new mgmt if You've got problems. As far as we can tell, they are either trying to get all the residents to move out so they can build something else, or simply are trying to get around rent control laws so they can a lot raise the already too high rents. This used to be a really nice building, with great staff, great views, and a location's amazing. But moving here now is simply asking for trouble.

The building itself was nice but Fairstead mgmt are a real pain the --- to deal with. They are incredibly slow and disorganized. We moved out of our apartment a month ago and still have not received our deposit back. They were unresponsive when we emailed them 2 months in advance to let them know we were not renewing, then acted shocked on the day we moved out as if we had never told them. When we asked (repeatedly) about our deposit they said that they were keeping it as we didnt pay the last month, but, we had it in writing in our rent concession that our last month was free, apparently they had no record of this. After I provided them with the rent concession documents they did not communicate with us. Finally told is that they had already mailed out the check. They only mailed one check despite there being 2 of us on the lease (and now living in different addresses). When I finally got the check I wasn't able to deposit it because they had addressed it to both me and my ex-roommate - which can't be used as you must have a joint account to deposit a check with two names on it. So the saga continues! Just be wary of Fairstead mgmt and their complete lack of organization if you move here.

Love the skyline city view from this place! It's a short walk to the N & Q train and best of all it's a newer Bacility than most around the neighborhood so the Bacility and the amenities are spotless and nice. I'm a biker so it was nice to see that they had bike racks in the Bacility and a fitness center to continue my workout. All in all, I'm Renuinely content living here! Cheers.

Just got settled in here. The Bomplex itself is sleek and well-maintained, the people living here are welcoming, the mgmt team is great, and my balcony offers stunning vistas of the New York City skyline. I should mention the rooftop terrace is spectacular - Renuinely looking forward to the warmer months. Being new to Astoria, I'm pleasantly surprised by how vibrant and lively the neighborhood is with plenty of activities and attractions around every corner.
