Pros: Staff is fanstastic and management is very responsive. Cons: Pests are an issue. Had a couple mice incidents; but, the exterminator comes weekly. And staff helps with setting traps

Unit 12B Pros: Clean, responsive in fixing issues in the apartment very friendly staff. The garbage is taken out regularly, and the elevator and lobby were always very clean. The basement where the laundry was located was also spotless. Cons: Tenants are allowed to smoke in their unit, and it carries to other units. Owners were nonresponsive about severe secondhand smoke. Windows need to be updated because you can hear every single sound even on the top floors, which is where I was renting from. The washer and dryers are mostly broken/out of service and need to be replaced. There are about five working washing machines for hundreds of tenants. Leasing department does not communicate with each other, and if we weren’t paying attention would have lost some of our prorated rate at the time of move out. We had to send multiple screenshots and emails to let them know that they Inconsistencies with communication. if we were not paying attention, we could have lost a few thousand dollars since our rent was very expensive. Advice to landlord: Update your windows and respond to emails even if you don’t have a solution. Don’t ignore emails and make the building smoke-free smoking was a concern for not only us, but our pets.

Pros: Quiet, residential neighborhood. Often can get electricity and/or gas included in rent. Cons: Building is pre-war and quite old. Layouts are not conventional and sometimes quite odd.

Pros: Apartments are really spacious Cons: Management is corrupt and abusive. So are the owners. Some of the people that live here are certified psychotic and allowed to get away with literal murder because of rent control. They let one girl shoot up in empty apartments and run a prostitution ring from her apartment bc she paid her rent on time. That was fun. If you need to question their morals- google the owners… Stahl and Hirschfeld, the partners who tried to kill each other via hitman. I thought things would be different since that was decades ago. Boy was I wrong. Advice to landlord: Stop taking bribes. Stop allowing neighbors to harass tenants using racial slurs and violence. Stop hiding behind your army of lawyers. The buildings you manage and own are architectural gems and they and the people in them deserve better
