Pros: Good location, very clean entryway/trash situation, good water pressure, and good heat during the winter. Cons: The outsourced management and lack of a super made it impossible to get any help with solving issues typically mediated by a super. Completely impersonal and negligent.

Pros: my roommate and I love love love the interior of our apartment. it has so much character - colored tiles, huge bowl-shaped sink and counter in the bathroom, windows covering the whole apartment, lots of brick. it is truly beautiful and hard to pass up. also has an in-unit washer dryer which is amazing for the price. building is in a wonderful location close to LES, Nolita/Soho, Noho, Stuytown, etc. - you can walk everywhere. Only 2 rooms per floor once you get above the first floor, so lots of privacy Cons: You can't control the heat and all of the windows make the apartment extremely extremely hot even with an AC unit attached to the window. Next to a police station so can get a little bit loud. Easily worst of all, we had lots of mice in the summers. Not fun. Would still live here for all of the pros, but would bring in a contractor before moving all your furniture in to fix the problem. Advice to landlord: fix the mouse problem
