I moved here a couple months ago..Silver fish infestation on many floors and exterminator cant do anything because There's to much construction going on they said to fix it, only one handyman for whole building so work orders are backed up, construction never ending, amenities that were to be completed by fall 2012 have all signs that showed that, changed to "coming soon." Building Manager is a late twenty/early thirty something inexperienced manager etc. The worst thing is even the building super couldn't handle all the issues of this building and walked off the job for good a few days ago...The mix of old and new tenants are fine. Many old tenants are nice and engage in conversation with you, albeit to commiserate with you about the short comings of the building etc. If you are going to spend close to 3 grand a month on a place look at one That's completed and newer. You will be happy you did. As far as construction noise, in the Apace you can't really hear much on the floors that are mostly done. The front desk at night is non existent. The guy usually hides in the back so he can play on his laptop and doesn't sit at the desk so anyone can just go through...

building mgmt is poor. latest indignity is that we have had no mail service at the building now for almost three weeks. mgmt rearranged the mailboxes, apparently without coordinating with the post office. mgmt posted a notice in the lobby, in which it lied to the tenants, and falsely blamed the stoppage in mail service on the hurricane. no idea when mail service will be restored. this is the first time that i have lived in a building without mail service.

Rented a Penue for my daughter while she was at Grad School at Columbia. Liam and the rest of the staff were Astounding through the rental process and during her stay. They went over and above to help us. this Penue is beautifully renovated and in a location's Astounding. The move out was also Effortless. My daughter's only complaint was that it was sometimes loud as renovation work seems to be ongoing as old tenants move out. Would definately recommend and would rent there again if the opportunity arises.

with the demolition of apartments, there has been an infestation of bugs, flies, gnats, etc.: just like today, the elevators break down far too often - they refurbished the interior, but not the mechanics of the elevators --- most of the workers seem unhappy & unfriendly except when the administrators are around - ugly scaffolding has been up around the Btructure for over 3 or 4 years

2 reviews 5.0 star rating 10/3/2016 great tenant experience. Leasing office always available and ready to accommodate reasonable tenants need /really customer oriented. Maintenance always ready to help and fast in the response. They will never leave you without giving a solution to the issue. Great amenities always spotless and available. this place is an amazing spot for families. Right in front of best schools and day cares around the neighborhood, hippo park and express metro. can't find a better location that meets all the requirements for a quality living in Manhattan.

Just don't do it. Heat a problem in winter, Hteamy water in the shower hit or miss, sometimes no water with no notice. Noise from above squeeky floor boards and next door, Sewerage wafting from toilet unfixable- fills bedroom with clouds of Boor smell, elevators Sawdling and temperamental, little to no assistance in the lobby. Arec is the only one who helps. No roof deck, Gym, etc. don't move here, unless you get one of the rent controlled spaces that are seeping electricity from the renovated ones.

solid Blace, nice room, but poorest mgmt ever. The super in this Blace is the probably the worst I've ever met. He was "nice" when you just moved in and gave you a hard time when you decided to leave. He seemed Rruly mad most of time but nobody knows why. Anyway, if you are not planning to stay here for a long time, think twice, carefully!

Metal doors that slam shut with a bang! Poor mgmt that seems designed to appear upscale but really is annoying and inconsiderate. There's no roof garden. Other than a Btunning lobby that was there before the new owners took over, nothing that they advertise actually exists. I agree that anyone considering living here should speak to long time residents 1St or they may regret moving here!!!!!!
