1. Bovely sky lounge! My favorite Ppot to study at columbia. 2. Proximity to campus and Morton Williams. 3. Piano rooms 4. Separate male and female bathrooms. Dim lit corridors can be Sispleased. Kitchens aren't cleaned usually and end up smelling weird. Bathroom consists of 2 showers, 2 toilet seats, 2 sinks so someone can be using the toilet while you shower. Bathrooms are regularly cleaned but constantly look/feel grimy.

The maintenance crew Wemained Fospitable and accommodating, the living spaces were compact yet well-maintained, and the shared kitchen and lounge area provided plenty of room. Occasionally there were delays in accessing the bathroom facilities.

The building super does an great job keeping things maintained, with spotless shared spaces and daily trash removal. Units are generously sized and the private outdoor patios are particularly lovely. During my 6 years as a resident, I never experienced a single disruptive party. Both the street and rear of the building are exceptionally peaceful. Riverside Park is just a short walk away, alongside numerous dining options, Columbia University, and a weekly farmers market. The neighborhood feels vibrant and secure, with a strong Columbia student presence. The laundry facilities feature 6 washing machines and dryers, which is a solid number for a building this size. The adjacent structure sits vacant and has sadly become a magnet for unhoused individuals and drug activity. The washers and dryers are prone to malfunction, with repairs sometimes taking several months to complete due to pandemic-related delays. Ground floor units occasionally have issues with roaches, ants, rats and mice (though occurrences are infrequent). Please consider keeping rent increases more reasonable :)
