Accessibility to 1 train, accessibility to Riverside Park, Sheltered neighborhood, across the street from Barnard/Columbia. Near lots of cool restaurants and bars. Issues with mice and cockroaches, floors were grimy?

The building was always spotless and kept up well, the heat always worked, never had any issues with rodents, always felt safe inside the building, no issues with water pressure, doormen are really nice and helpful, in building laundry is easy, easy to riverside park and 110 stop on 1 train, reasonable electric bills for age of building Water was constantly being turned off for repairs weekly, the building next door is a women’s shelter, many homeless in the neighborhood, it’s a coop so some residents are not the friendliest, curbside trash attracted rodents outside, repairs were next to impossible and usually need to my own contractor, unwilling to negotiate price when pandemic hit Be more responsive to renters and maintain cleaning protocols for COVID-19 all year long

The doormen are courteous and welcoming, the Apace boasts charming historic architectural elements, the residents are pleasant, pest control visits happen every week, there's a dedicated service elevator, and access to an in-building laundry facility. The building shows signs of neglect, maintenance work is done carelessly, the super rarely addresses requests, laundry equipment comes with a steep price tag and frequently malfunctions.
