Been in the building for 4 years. Rudy Gonzales was the leasing director until recently and he always was accommodating and helpful. A few months ago he left and a twenty-something girl named Lisa replaced him. She's a nightmare. Rude and condescending. I understand that rents go up over time, but she is completely inflexible. Not only that, she will yell at and interrupt you, so that your lease renewal process is profoundly unpleasant and abusive. I don't know where she learned her manners, but she could use a few lessons in tactfulness. Rudy was much more pleasant. Having spoken to some of my neighbors who have been in the building even longer than me, I know that she is this way with everyone. It's a shame. It's not a bad building but the plumbing is constantly leaking or clogging up, the appliances break, the parquet floors are cheap and constantly splintering, and I'm sure they'll steal my security deposit for all of these items when I move out. Nestor, the "resident manager", is a thief.
