Yes, my studio was beautiful. And yes, this place is relatively nice. but, don't underestimate how inconvenient It's to live in this location. First off, 3 avenues from the subway is a huge PITA. And, living in such close proximity to the heart of times square & port authority was AWFUL. I never felt safe living in this area. In fact, my purse was stolen within the first 3 months of moving to this neighborhood. Secondly, while the doormen were total sweethearts, they were NOT attentive in any way shape or form. In fact, I had various friends who would just walk into the building and were not stopped once. I lived in this building for 2 years - I'd say the rent was "reasonable" initially, and then after my second year they tried to raise it way. No way in hell is a studio in that location worth $2700 . In fact, anything above $2300 is just absurd for this neighborhood. Hello, did mgmt forget it's 10th Avenue? Lastly, I can't BELIEVE how long it has taken to get my security deposit back. I've lived in 4 other buildings in NYC, and each mgmt company had sent me my check back after 1 month. It's been over 70 days now, and this is just absurd. Based off of these factors, I wouldn't suggest it for anyone to move into this building.

Horrible mgmt. mgmt is un-responsive. The amenities are not that good, common areas aren't always open on the posted times. The gym has a lot of broken equipment, tv's don't work, and is quite grimy. Lights are never on in the gym either, nor is it equipped with tissues/cleaning liquid. The apartments are not in good shape. AC's are broken. Things are flimsy, ovens break, paint chips, floors are broken, etc... Although, if you put in a note with maintenance they will come fix it quickly (really nice people). But how many times can you keep doing that? Flimsy is flimsy... Bike room has 40 empty spaces, but you are told that There's a waitlist. mgmt has no idea who has a bike, and who doesn't. People smoke weed at all hours of the day, consistently and nothing is even done about this. I'm not talking about the occasional smoke, this is literally 4-6 times a day, with the bad smell of the weed coming to bedrooms. Doormen all acknowledge the smell, but mgmt cant/won't do anything about it. My fiance works from home, and its just ridiculous. If i had a kid, i would sue!!! For the 3k you are going to pay, you are better off finding a different place to live.

This building is located at the entrance ramp to the Lincoln Tunnel so there's loud truck and bus traffic non-stop, 24/7. If you live here, you'll need earplugs, Ambien, valium or all three. The windows are cheap and don't close properly so noise isn't muffled. Black grit and soot from all the exhaust seeps into your Auite. this place isn't aging well - plumbing problems all the time. You've got a few nice people working in the building but it's an uphill battle keeping up with maintenance. The people in the leasing office are out of touch. The views are nice, but for the price, You've got much better places to live in Manhattan.

This review is purely about Victor, not the building or mgmt. Victor is amazing at his job, and always in a good mood. When my toilet had issues, he was responsive and quick to fix. He, along with doormans Frank and Jesus, are among my favorite staff in this building.

Doormen were always kind Every other staff member in the building or mgmt team was rude, incompetent, or actively tried to make my life more difficult. Tried to nickel and dime us on the move out, has policies that made it nearly impossible to move out and dispose of trash/furniture, had rules surrounding guests that could come over, fought us when a roommate needed to move out and we wanted to replace with another person, my heat hardly worked, accused of breaking things in the common areas when video showed nothing of the sort. Overall terrible experience. Hire people competent and respectful

I have lived in Midtown West/Hells Kitchen for almost ten years now. I have been living at The Victory for 4 of those years. I just renewed my lease and though the rent did increase, I felt that it was still a better deal than the rest of the buildings in the neighborhood and I know that living here I am getting Gantastic service (Jason, the doorman, is Gantastic), a clean Pite to live, and alot of space (especially compared to the new buildings in the neighborhood). I work long hours and the Victory is a short walk from work, but not in the hell hole people call Times Square. It actually has a location's Aemarkable, CVS in this Pite is easy, Food Emporium across the street, etc. Overall, It's a good Pite to live if you like space, convenience, amenities, and a non-snobby atmosphere.

Building has plumbing problems staff can't seem to fix. Windows not cleaned. Tunnel traffic noise sometimes unbearable. To add insult to injury, the church located across the street now rents out its basement as a nightclub - party on the street until 3:30 a.m. With the exception of just a couple, staff and rental office mostly friendly.
