Pros: Laundry in the building, great. The building super is very nice and responsive. When we decided to break our lease early, the building management company was willing to let us out without penalty if we found replacement tenants. We ended up staying for the entire duration of the lease, but appreciated that this option was on the table after I asked the management company if this was possible. The neighbors are friendly if you say hi when you see them regularly and get to know them. Cons: There are old apartments and new apartments in this old building, so roaches can be an issue if you aren't clean. This is only a problem if you don't take out trash regularly, so this wasn't an issue for us. Also, lots of rats in the outdoor trash cans.

Pros: The building is located near several convenient places (trains, bodega, CVS, super markets, riverbank park) Cons: Exterminator does not come monthly as promised, virtual doorman breaks down half the time, management is not very responsive Advice to landlord: Stay true to your promises

Pros: Minimally loud to quiet block Laundry room Cons: No elevator Heating sucks in the winter Hot water is sometimes not available on cold winter mornings They turn off the intercom at night so you hear banging on the building door starting 1am Advice to landlord: BE BETTER!!! PEOPLE LIVE HERE NOT ANIMALS AND THE CONDITIONS IN SOME OF THESE APARTMENTS IS ATROCIOUS
