Decent building but has room for improvement in some areas.

Glenwood Mgmt. doesn't care at all about enforcing the terms of its own leases. Tenants who have a right to complain about neighbors who are in violation of the lease (piano playing, pets, not covering 80% of floors with rugs walking around with shoes day and night, and finally the non-stop construction noise until 11:30 PM every night) will be ignored completely by mgmt. mgmt raised no objections to mitigate the harm that tenants might suffer as a result of the "valid" permit construction crews obtained to work on refacing of the entire school directly across the street. Prospective renters be aware that really loud construction noise continues ALL NIGHT EVERY NIGHT from 5pm until 11:30pm and Glenwood simply doesn't care. They start at 7am on Saturdays too! I have lived in all types of buildings all over Manhattan and without question, this is the worst place I had to endure living. I could not wait until my lease was up to get out of that --------. Glenwood should be paying tenants to stay there, not the other way around. But if you like noise and you like the smell of pot in the hallways 3-4 times/week then this is your kind of building. don't move here, you will regret it immediately.
No HPD violations on record.
