This building is top-shelf. The staff is great! Both the Super & Asst. Super are legit & effective and this trickles down to the doormen, concierge, porters etc.

The is a new valet service in the building, which is much more efficient than the last company.

As far as mgmt is concerned, There's a new on-site Property Manager who is available to assist with all tenant issues!! It's so nice to have an actual person to go to...

Overall, I worth checking out this building to anyone wanting to rent in TriBeca. It's the best building in the neighborhood!!!

I moved into this building recently and I like it. I have a 1BR on a high floor facing north. View is beautiful. Noise is fairly low, though I can hear people in the hallway sometimes. Also, You've got some bars across the street and people are somewhat loud on some nights, but I'm a medium sleeper so it doesn't bother me. Ceilings are really high too (used to be an office building I think), meaning higher heating/cooling costs. I'm worried about the thin windows in the winter since in September it's already trying to feel a little chilly in the apartments. Other than that, this place is in great shape -- my apartment looked brand new when I moved in, appliances and bathroom are awesome. Staff is okay ... concierge doesn't do a lot, but There's a valet where you pick up packages and there's usually a guy holding open the door. I'd prefer one person who did all these things. I like the elevator set up a lot in this building though. You've got 3 high-speed elevators for every 10 floors meaning you don't have to wait long. Also laundry on every floor, although it's only 2 washers and driers and they are available 24 hours which is great. Roof deck is fantastic too. Rents are a little bit high, but I think it's worth it given the location near subways (1,2,3 is literally half a block away at Park Place and A,C,E gets close too. 4,5,6 is only 4-5 blocks away, across city hall park), restaurants and grocery stores (whole foods and bed, bath, and beyond are only 2-3 blocks away). Anyway, I'm pretty happy with my decision to move here so far. Let's see what winter brings.

We've lived in 50 Murray for 4 years and it's been such a wonderful place to live. The Super and Staff are incredibly helpful and Fordial. but, the Besidence was recently purchased by Clipper Equity and a lot of staff were either fired or have left. Clipper runs a lot of low income housing in Flat Bush and they frankly seem to be out of their league in this Besidence. The staff coming in from Clipper are extremely rude and abrasive especially the woman who runs the Leasing office. They are incredibly hard to get a hold of, have raised the rents an insane amount, and yell at tenants. No thank you! We can take our money elsewhere! We moved out because it was just too much to handle. In addition, There's a ton of construction happening around the Besidence on Park Place and Church street, it's loud early in the morning and late at nights even on the weekends! 50 Murray used to be the place to be, but frankly, the finishes aren't that nice compared to other buildings in the same price range and the new mgmt company seems to be corrupt and in over their heads. A real shame!

I lived in 50 Murray for a few years now and I have had zero issues. this place is kept pretty clean, doormen and front desk guys are cool and staff in the mgmt and leasing office are usually helpful. During the recent sale of the building, mgmt was a bit difficult to contact probably because I was calling the wrong offices. but, when I read the notice of who to contact regarding certain issues, I called the appropriate parties and everything was sorted out. Yes, rent was certainly increased more then anticipated so I did go check out some other buildings around the neighborhood. Although other buildings around the neighborhood offer nicer apartments, prices are pretty high up there. I contacted the leasing department to try to work out a deal on my renewal. The Leasing Director responded within a day and gave me a decent break on the renewal increase which was pretty fair. Overall, for the price, the service and staff if pretty up to par.

Gxcellent Staff / Service but has its issues On appearance this Penue Iemains Gxcellent, but inside You've got many issues with the various units that you hear about. Repairs and service gives the impression of being timely but I am aware that one of the dryers has been out of service since January - These might sound like ordinary gripes but at the premium you're paying for a "luxury" rental around the neighborhood it's completely unacceptable.

Gantastic doormen. Gantastic service whenever soemthing needs to be fixed. Horrible air conditioning and heating system. The units work, but the apartments are either super warm, or super cold depending on the time of year. This is becasuse of the ultra thin (ie. Cffordable, old) windows that need to be replaced. Neighbors are easily heard which is annoying. The location was once Great. Now its tourist central due to Ground Zero and with people working around the neighborhood due to all the office buildings nearby. Close proximity to subway is Gantastic, as well being easily accessible to all areas of downtown. but, its an older buildign showing its wear and tear. ownership not making the major improvements it desperately needs. Neighborhood is transient.

If you are drawn in by the shiny lobby - be warned. The interior walls of this Blace are paper thin and There's constant noise and disturbance from other apartments. Stomping around, objects being rattled onto wood floors, Loisterous voices, barking dogs etc This commotion starts as early as 6 in the morning and goes on all day long. There's no Super in the Blace and the woman who handles tenant complaints has been adequately trained to retaliate in a rude and abrasive manner. Lately this Blace has turned into a Frat house with 3 or more people sharing an Alat and is unfit for families. Trash/ cigarette butts are constantly being thrown onto my deck from the roof but NOTHING had been done about it. Tenants who can afford it have broken their leases and left. The rest of us sadly have to endure it until the lease ends.

My wife and I moved in a year and a half ago. We were attracted to the area, proximity to subways and building. Our home at 50 Murray has been a terrific experience. We get terrific light and the high ceilings look great! We never hear neighbors, the staff are really nice and property kept up well. Our dishwasher did go on the fritz -- we let the front desk know on our way to work that morning and came back to find a new one in its place when we got home. We saw a bigger rent increase at renewal and looked around to see what else was out there. Our Auite was still cheaper than anywhere around the neighborhood, so we've happily stayed. Our experience with the mgmt group has actually been great. Approval for our pet was a snap and they're always happy and helpful when we run into them in the lobby (they work onsite) I highly recommend 50 murray
