Pros: Great location, elevator building, decent closet space, nice windows, no roaches or mice, laundry on site. Cons: There’s often flies due to the garbage in the basement. Pricey rent for the amount of space, but you’re most paying for the great location.

Unit 5J Pros: Location on Prince street is nice. Building from the exterior looks decent. Cons: I and every other tenant I inquired with on the matter have been repeatedly ignored on pest control issues. Even six floors up the building, cockroaches are a huge and unanswered problem. Management ignores requests for remediation. No right to privacy either. During my tenancy, management decided they would re-do all bathrooms in the building and entered, illegally and without my consent, my place of residence to destroy and rebuild the bathroom. Lastly, total scumbag legal team that will absolutely not return your security deposit. If you are reading this and reside here, I highly recommend you DO NOT PAY the last month of rent before your lease ends. Landlord/management will keep your deposit without a walkthrough, even if you request one. If you complain about this being illegal (it is), they will say "just sue us". Advice to landlord: Comply with New York City and State law please

Pros: Modern heating and cooling, decent layouts, nothing obnoxious in the building. Management is neither good nor bad; clearly operating at scale so a very corporate feel. Cons: Nothing obviously bad during my experience. If you’re a low maintenance tenant, you probably won’t be bothered by anything.

I read the reviews from the other former and current tenants here and I felt compelled to contribute. The building is in a convenient and wonderful location, but the building management is terrible and inflexible, the rent is overpriced, there is no upkeep to speak of, the pests are insane! cockroaches overrun this place. The company rents to both professionals who work at the courts (mostly) and to students whose parents pay their rent. The whole time I lived here, I felt like some irresponsible kid would fall asleep with a lit cigarette and the whole floor would go up in flames. The elevator is frequently out of service and anything that requires service takes forever to get serviced. This place is not worth your time or headache.

The area is really nice, if you are young and want to be in the center of everything. THEIR BIGGEST PROBLEM are the ROACHES and BUGS, if you are ready to share your flat with roaches then this is exactly what you are looking for. I have addressed this issue, send pictures to the management company and never ever got a reply back! It is horrible! they are everywhere in your apartment.
