Pros: I've lived here for 2+ years and genuinely have few complaints. The super is responsive (usually views issues within 1 day) and the landlord is somewhat accessible, though she lives in Miami and doesn't work Fri-Sun. We've seen maybe 4 very small roaches in the span of 2+ years, which is pretty good honestly. Never seen a rat indoors. Pest control comes regularly and all appliances work. Great location near the park Cons: The super is quick, but his fixes aren't always that great. We had a shower fixed and the handle was installed backwards. Our in-unit washer also broke and they replaced it with another broken washer. Took over a month to get a working one installed.

Pros: The space was huge for a 1 bedroom and location being a half a block away from the A/C/E trains made it great for commuting. Neighbors were friendly and met some friends in the building while I lived there. The supers were also super nice and helpful with things I needed or taking packages for you when you weren’t there. Cons: The building is old and my apartment wasn’t renovated but some are so that sucked because the ones that are renovated are significantly nicer and have washer/dryer in unit. No utilities are included in the rental but for the price it’s fine. The area has become less safe since I left at the start of covid, but before it seemed to be becoming more gentrified. Advice to landlord: Renovate all the apartments please! And don’t increase renewal rent prices during a pandemic if you want to keep tenants in the building.
