Pros: You get an incredible building for decently affordable prices, especially for those living with roommates. The doormen and staff in the building are so wonderful - I’m extremely sad to leave. Cons: Third Avenue and 33rd can be a bit dangerous and loud, so if you’re on a low floor, expect that commotion. Elevators have gone through many ups and downs of repairs and being out of service.

Pros: Extremely convenient, with Trader Joe’s next door, package room, easy access to the ferry, and overall clean, bright apartment Cons: They were doing work on the balconies when I lived there, which was unfortunate and they had scaffolding up.

Unit 2J Pros: I was in a large unit for a very affordable price. There is a gym in the building, a door man, and a portal for all apartment-related issues. Unit was renovated prior to move in. Central AC, dishwasher, laundry in building. Cons: We had a massive pest issue in our unit and it took months of requests and badgering management to receive any resolution and compensation. The pipes bang for 10+ minutes when the heat turns on, so you will be woken up in the middle of the night by them. This is also on a busy corner, so if you are on a low floor, it will be loud. There is no control over the heat, and the heat radiates out, especially if you are near the boiler, which causes the rooms to be extremely warm when transitioning from fall to winter and winter to spring. Advice to landlord: control the pests
