Unit 1a Pros: The space is by far the biggest pro to the building! Cons: I mean i dont know where to even start. Rodents and roaches are a huge issue. I personally killed over 15 mice in my apartment in the time I lived here - with my roommates killing a handful of others. The owners simply do not give a SHIT about you. Additionally, we had black mold in all bathrooms that we tried to have them clean multiple times, with no response. And then on top of that, we were without hot water for over 7 full months in the DEAD of Winter. The management company didn't even care to answer our many calls and emails and we even reached out to 311 on multiple instances, with our building still refusing to help. The WORST part of all of this is I live in Apt 1A and paid 5250. They didn't raise our rent on us once while we live there (because 5250 was a huge stretch for what the apartment was actually worth given the issues). We opted NOT to renew our lease for a third year - they still hadn't raised our rent before we declined. I just went to look at street easy and they raised the rent to 6500. Absolutely sickening. DO NOT RENT THIS APARTMENT Advice to landlord: Literally be better. You guys are terrible

Pros: - location - close to the subway - affordable - cute layout Cons: - unresponsive management. there's been times where I had to contact them over 50 times over an issue before it got resolve - trash area is dirty and not well maintained - pests - can get loud

Pros: Somewhat renovated apartment that was spacious. New kitchen, bathrooms were a tad older but overall nicely redone and very spacious 3 bed with closets in every room, very tall ceilings, 2 full bathrooms, dishwasher, and private roof. Another great pro if the apartment has Carson mobile doorman which is great for walk ups as you can use an app to buzz ppl in and watch live video footage of door to ensure you’re letting in the right person Cons: Management was very slow and not fully helpful. The hallway and roof flooded during rainstorms, which meant the carpet should have been cleaned or replaced (wasn’t). Our neighbor left her dog in her apartment for months alone, which resulted in a horrible smell and we had to call 311. However, management was helpful here. Other than that neighbor issue, we had no other issues with neighbors. The super was kind but not very responsive, as he didn’t live in the building. Advice to landlord: 1) Have apartment move in ready with paint and cleaned before renters move in. 2) Have hallways and common areas Regularly cleaned including the rug

Pros: Updated apartment, great space overall, good location, quiet in regards to the street noise, not in terms of the building. Other tenants are college kids so weekends are very loud. Personally, this does not bother me, but for some, it could be troublesome especially when it's at 3 am. Cons: Maintenance takes forever to get anything done, property management is not very responsive to email requests, missing inside door (second door) to the building. Advice to landlord: Be more responsive of issues/maintenance especially in the hallways of this building.
