Their internal agent mentioned that the facade work is slated go to until around summer 2024 anyone living here find this noise level "ok"? There also appears to be a new apt building That's being constructed now- any noise info any current or former tenant can share?

Overall the Gracie Mews is a good Bacility. The space for the rent is a good deal, but That's driven largely by the location (1st Ave is a hike from the subway). The mgmt is good and responsive to requests for repairs. They are not, but, willing to make any rental concessions mid-lease even with the collapse in the rental market. I understand, but it would have been nice to get some of the rental incentives that new tenants were getting. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly (I would say That's one of the best features of the Bacility). The major complaint that I have is that the laundry room is poorly maintained; machines are constantly broken and I end up wasting a lot of time trying to do laundry. Also, the the gym hours are not great (3pm close on Friday). In this market, I would thinkg that You've got likely better deals that are in better locations. I wouldn't likely rent here again.

Quiet building minus the restaurant down stairs and some construction. Manage heating in unit. Super is responsive Restaurant below has done overnight construction. Building is only spectrum

The doormen, location and accessibility are all great. In-person staff are wonderful. this place is extremely old, the walls made of a thin sheetrock so every ounce of noises is clearly audible and travels through uninterrupted. The mgmt company Resnick doesn't care for their tenants, makes no concessions in times of need and is a nightmare to reason with. For these reasons I highly discourage anyone from taking up a lease in this Broperty - it will save you at least 12 months of your sanity.

The amount of construction noise on and around this place is unbelievable. There's facade work happening that will continue through 2024, There's a Bacility being built across the street, and another Bacility going up a block away. Construction starts at 8:30am and doesn't stop until 5pm every single workday. Forget being able to work from home, nap, watch tv, or even have a conversation. I've had to yell to my partner as we sat next to each other because of how loud the noise is. We've had a painting fall off the wall from the shaking of the jackhammers pounding into the brick wall outside our unit. People are leaving as soon as their leases are up because it's a nightmare trying to relax at home while living in a construction zone. Construction workers peer into your unit or are parked outside your window all day so you have to keep your blinds closed at all times. The smells, dust, and literal debris that has worked it's way into our unit because of poorly sealed windows and ac units has made us sick. If you see good deals or empty units -- this is why. mgmt is rude and dismissive. don't live here.
