Pros: Responsive and helpful management. The doormen are so nice! Cons: Significant rent increases each year with lease renewal which is what eventually caused me to leave, otherwise I would have stayed for many years. They seem to keep units open and not listed on the market for a long time to control demand. My newly renovated unit has not been relisted since I moved out 6 months ago and is sitting empty.

Pros: Amazing doormen! A package of mine got lost and they spent days looking for it until it was found! Called other buildings etc. They never miss a beat! Clean laundry room! Always able to get a machine. Very thick walls. I have never heard a neighbor above of below. When anything needed fixing, the super came within hours. Cons: Can’t think of anything I don’t like.

Pros: The building is clean, quiet, and the doormen are the best. The super was very responsive any time I needed help. Cons: I wish there was outdoor space or some common areas!

Pros: Building staff is incredible, super kind and friendly, always very responsive to concerns they can address. Walls are solid concrete so you can’t hear anyone else. Cons: We were promised lounge and gym access at an adjacent building that was subsequently denied, agreed to 18 month lease but were actually given a 19 month one (our fault for not counting but didn’t expect that to happen), absolutely no flexibility on rent or lease during the pandemic, have numerous apartment issues that seemingly can’t be fixed (constant toilet clogging, faulty doorbell, breakers tripping, pipe leak in wall that caused wall to be broken down multiple times). Advice to landlord: Offering flexible rent would have likely kept far more tenants, make your prices more competitive with the rest of the market, offer even a single amenity, don’t allow people to represent you who don’t actually know your terms and conditions.

Pros: Large old pre war building Cons: Superintendent nickel and dimes you. Overcharges you for everything you need done in your apartment. Building management also does not return your phone calls or emails. Advice to landlord: Get it together! To many other nice units on the market to not care.
