Pros: Location is close to 1, A, C, D, B trains Cons: Trash in hallways, neighbors smoke by stairs instead of going outside, rats/mice in walls. Management was notified of rats in walls in 2019 and they have never tried to do anything to fix the issue. Super is not responsive and it can take several days to get any repairs done. Heat is not always available during the winter. Repairs are often made in the morning that require water to be shut off and no one ever notifies tenants ahead of time. Mail/Amazon boxes often get stollen. Advice to landlord: Invest in upgrades badly needed in building

Pros: It’s in a prime location Cons: Noisy neighbors, trash left in halls, cockroach infestation, housefly issues every summer. Landlord/management company doesn’t return calls about concerns. Called 311 several times, each person sent out said it wasn’t their first time to this location. Taking management to court. Wish I never moved in! Advice to landlord: Terrible job, do AT LEAST the bare minimum

Pros: The location is great, the super is responsive (from my experience) and renting is easy. Cons: Disgusting hallways, trash piles up by the chute constantly, roaches in the elevators and hallways and apartment all the time, water gets shut off about once a month, extremely thin walls, you'll hear everything neighbors do, pipes rattle VERY loud all winter, smells bad. Advice to landlord: hire more maintenance workers and actually fix repair instead of painting over them.
