I've lived in this building for nearly 1.5 yrs and absolutely love it! We've had no problems w/mgmt nor with any tenants. Thank God it's a mostly pet-free apartment so no worries on that end. Maintenance responds promptly to request for repairs and the doorman are like family.

this place is beautiful but Deception is at its core, small and large. this place is supposed to be smoke-free but many tenants smoke. Due to the poorly engineered pressure system, when one apartment smokes, it enters ALL surrounding units. Live here and you too can have a home that smells like bars before smoking was banned!!! No square footage is declared nor printed on any floorplan. The floor to ceiling windows do little to block outside noise. I originally chose this apartment because of the newness of the building and the friendly and helpful doormen. Now I am telling you that you can find much better elsewhere. Note, the staff rating is for mgmt, noise rating is for the windows issue.

They are not friendly for international applicants.Be careful when you apply this apartment! They strictly require SSN, although other apartments accept me without SSN. Finally they declined me, but I can't get any refund of my application fee.

The building’s workers and doormen are friendly. I’ve had 0 pest issues and this place is well kept for it’s age. Also have not had any breakdowns/issues in my apartment that need to fixing and can never hear my neighbors. The residents in this building stay awhile and I can see why! One of the elevators is sometimes out of service and the laundry room is a bit outdated.
