If there's an issue with neighbors smoking or making a ridiculous amount of noise, and you can absolutely count on it in this building, then forget it. Management won't enforce those rules and you're in for a long year. The only rule that is enforced in this building is that you pay your lease. Do yourself a favor and choose elsewhere during these times where the renter has the power. Don't say you weren't warned.

I lived in Plaza East for 3 years. A few notes: -The staff is amazing. Highlight of the building staff was during Hurricane Sandy. Power went out, basement was flooded and for a week the staff sleptover in the apartment and had 2 people at the front door at all times. -The building is very young .. so young that at 25 you may feel old. Summer Saturday's on the roof feel like a college campus -The spaces are small (very small), but you can rent an apartment without a broker fee, and they will help to put up a full wall in you are looking to convert a 1BR into a 2BR. There are many converted 2BR's 650sq ft and smaller in the building -Gym is small but is never too crowded. Laundry Room is fine and open 24hrs Overall .. great place to live just after college. Affordable compared to other buildings in the area. If you can deal with the small apartments then you will love the building

The building is nice, doormen are great and the apartment "seems" clean and spacious with a very nice rooftop/view. HOWEVER, there is a huge roach infestation going on in this building especially on the bottom floors...our apartment is kept tidy at all times and we generally see 2 live roaches a week and 2-3 dead ones / week. Completely unacceptable. Rockrose will tell you that there have never been any roach issues, but beware potential buyers.

I lived here for 2 years and absolutely loved it. The staff is great, neighborhood is great, and apartments are nice. I had ample closet space and a good sized kitchen in my studio. <br><br>The building also has a wonderful rooftop - I have had friends over there on occasion.

Plaza East is a well managed building and one of the smaller of the Rockrose Portfolio. Murray Hill is a fantastic neighborhood with lots of restaurants and bars and a great balance between livliness and peacefulness. The doormen, porters, and additional staff are simply the nicest, most professional people to have handling a building. They do an outstanding job. Laundry room is clean and safe with new machines. Roof desk is as well. Definitely worth the price if you can afford it!
