I have lived at this address for over 30 years; however, the building has become the superior one it is today only over the last 10 years. That is the date when Nick, our super, was hired, clearly with the mandate to overhaul the maintenance and upkeep of the property and to establish a professional and qualified staff to serve its tenants. This mandate he has fulfilled in every respect. He is considerate and responsive to the tenants, and commands the respect of his staff. Our work orders are ordinarily completed within one day, unless there are special circumstances such as parts to be ordered, and this is explained to us. I have many friends in NYC apartments and I believe my building is superior in its management to any of theirs.

simple appartment with decent layout and good location. The best thing are the staff and doorman, the worst part is the management company. The place has a major bedbug problem. Several appartments were infested and management did not get rid of the problem. They did not provide any solutions and even ended up taking part of the deposit check Do not rent here

The hallways are disgusting, smell and need to be renovated. One (of 2) elevator is always being used by service during the busy hours. It can take up to 5 minutes for it to come and then you hit every single floor on the way up or down. The super is useless. It takes a week or 2 to have a service request looked at, and months to have it fulfilled. The building shuts down the air conditioning at the end of September, no matter how hot the weather is. Most of the doormen are great, with the exception of the weekday, daytime one. They are the only positive to the building. Our lease can't end soon enough and we will be moving out.

This would be a great place to live except the super, Nick, is horrible. Incredibly rude and unprofessional, I have seen him yell at his staff on many occasions and even some tenants. The maintenance and doormen are great but Nick's attitude and lack of work will be the reason I move out instead of signing another year. It is not worth thousands of dollars a month on rent, just to be treated horribly every time you have a question about why something is not working...again.
