I lived on the 4th floor of this building recently (2021-2022). The super was extremely unhelpful. We moved in, and on the second day before we'd even had any of furniture or boxes from storage, began seeing roaches. We knew it wasn't from our stuff, as we had never had roaches before. By our 2nd week there, we were seeing 15+ roaches a day. We hadn't even unpacked, and would take the trash out every single day. The super was ultimately unhelpful. He called in an exterminator only after we threatened to report the building to the city. The exterminator put some gel in our kitchen cabinets, and some sticky traps. That's it! Obviously, the roach problem only got worse, and we found out it was because our neighbor had an infestation that the building wasn't taking care of. We called our own exterminator who came monthly for the entire year that we lived there, and sealed up all of the holes in the ceilings and brick that we could find. Finally, around month 7 of living there, the roaches stopped. We still had our own exterminator coming monthly just to be safe, but we never used our kitchen cabinets the entire time we lived there in fear of the roaches. The super would tell us to leave our bags of trash in the hall since it was a walk-up, and then the neighbor would complain to him about it and he would report us! He was the one who told us to in the first place. The neighbor also left her own bags of trash out, and constantly argued with her boyfriend, threatening him. We filed many noise complaints, but nothing was ever done. There are only 3 washers/dryers in the laundry room, and the dryers hardly work so it costs about $10 to fully wash and dry one load of laundry. The lobby/laundry area is always very dirty. Packages mysteriously go missing all the time, or are thrown away by the super whenever he feels like clearing off the shelf. We had multiple packages thrown away that had only been sitting downstairs for a day or 2. The apartment we lived in (28) was extremely small and overpriced, but if you can get over that, the roaches, neighbors, and rude super will hopefully be enough to throw you off. There was also a rat in our wall and kitchen 2 days before we moved out, and the super didn't believe us when we told him, even after we showed him a video of it. The landlord is impossible to get in touch with, and only allows you to go through a secretary at his office. He refused to renew our lease (probably because of us complaining about the roaches), and had at LEAST 4 realtors a week coming to view our apartment the month before we moved out. The only positive thing about this apartment is that it's very close to the Q train. For your own good, please find another place to rent!

The staff thinks its reasonable to make a tenant go days without a working refrigerator. I explained to them that my baby needs its food and milk kept cold. They don't seem to care and claim there is nothing they can do. This is what 3 grand a month gets you. If the refrigerator was for their own 6 month old baby, it probably would've been fixed.

DISGUSTING! DO NOT WALK INTO THIS PLACE. I don't even live here, came by to check out an apartment, how dare they even show this to people... fake advertisements. This place is a ---- hole... DO NOT be deceived by the pretty awning outside, or the renovated lobby. The place is absolutely disgusting. Smells like cigarettes. If you rent here, you are just an idiot.

Great value and location, okay building, okay management, good neighbors, plenty to do close by, good enough proximity to train. No complaints

cheap price for a spacious and convenient place like this. All the neighbors in the building are friendly and considerate as well.

Disgusting! MICE are in all the apartments that have not said "screw this I Am getting a cat" although pets aren't allowed no one will say anything. Roaches are guest too and so are the fast bugs with like 100 legs i think they are called silver fish. But lets say you are ok with extra free roomates then you will be ok. But wait no you wont because the building in not safe. There are repeated break ins not only into peoples apartments but people have been robbed at the front door on numerous occasions. It isn't worth any amount of money to put your life in danger and with a management such as this one there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

I am writing this hoping one person sees it, because then, at least I will have save 1 person. Please do not waste your money. You will be miserable if you live here. It is roach/rat infested. The management company is a bunch of deadbeats who never pick up or return your call. I have walked in and found homeless people sleeping in the halls, and animals running wild. I could go on and on all night, but please, do not live here. I currently do, and have been trying to get myself evicted because it's just not worth the rent. You would be better off sleeping outside than sleeping at this shitjoint. FYI - you will be best friends with your neighbor since you can hear them sneeze. apt gets robbed often. smells like weed. etc etc etc

What a dump. Rat infestation in basement means rats scurrying around the building/going through the trash that is always scattered out front EVERY night - literally trip over rats going in/out. Plus we had mice inside the apartment. Also, management locked everyone out late night on a recent Saturday and told them to go to a locksmith Sunday to get a new key. Does that make sense? Of course someone kicked the front door in. Then the locksmith told us there was an armed robbery in the lobby. Hmmmm... also our heat was shut for most of the coldest week of the winter (5-10 degrees). We called the office and they failed to fix the situation and then got angry and hung up on us when we called back, as the hostile lady at the office does frequently when we call for such frequent occurences as lack of hot water or electricity. Apparently it's our fault. The building is just in general disrepair/state of filth as well and is never tended to. Oh, but noise levels are adequate, and we have nice exposed brick (though it hasn't been glazed and is quite dirty). Every tenant I've spoken to hates this place and turnover is constant. Don't be the next to move in!
