Unit 5B Pros: The doorman and staff on site were always really friendly and kind and I loved them. The apartment itself was in good shape, albeit some of the appliances were older but still working. Working with the staff / management company was alway pretty easy. Cons: Depending how you look at it, the move in / move out / delivery process is COI heavy so its a bit of a headache. But this does keep the building in working order, minimal damage and you're not always passing people moving in. Occasionally you can hear people but its intermittent and hey, you live in NYC - thems the breaks. Advice to landlord: Pay the front of house staff well! They see it all!

Pros: Elevator, small gym, laundry in the building. Doormen are great and rest of staff is good. Cons: Stairs/Trash chute area could be kept cleaner and pest control should be more attentive. Building management is also pretty vicious and doesn’t appear to value good tenants and their loyalty with steep rent increases annually. Advice to landlord: Value good, loyal tenants. Do better addressing AND preventing cockroach pop ups in stairs/basement.
