There is nothing luxurious about this building. Besides the heat always always broken and the gym is a joke. I was treated was very poorly by one of the doorman Antoino - a few times I asked for my packages he got an attitude with me. Then I was harassed at the gym by him saying my guest couldn’t be there besides a sign being there saying guests are allowed accompanied by tenant. He made up a story about management not wanting them there besides the signs clearly saying otherwise He constantly asked my guests which were minorities where they going except he never did this with my roommates who were not a minority. All the other doormen were pleasant except for him. The last draw was when I was moving out Antoino refused to allow my movers enter the building despite me sending all the necessary paperwork ahead of my move. He harassed me the entire time and despite me paying for movers sending the coi, I had to move the things on my own as he yelled at me and my movers. He was extremely unprofessional and discriminating against me. I would advise against moving here if you are a minority after the experience I had with Antonio

I moved into Hudson park apartment in August 2021. 1. Initially my lease documents kept saying an address for which I signed the lease but 2 days before moving, I was told that I was getting a different apartment in an entirely different building with no gym!!. I pay the same rent as the other 2 buildings but have to go to the other building to use the facilities like gym. This was kept hidden from me at the time of my move in. 2. I asked for a covered parking spot which turned out to be an open slot with just a shed(no security of vehicle). This spot had a leaky roof which spoilt my car. It took me 3 months to speak to the authorities multiple times to finally get another spot. 3. Due to the miscommunication by the authorities as noted above, my renter's insurance address was different and therefore hudson kept charging monthly late fees. Finally after calling multiple times, I was able to get hold of someone just a month ago to reimburse me the late fees. I always have to ask hudson to get my money back as no one really cares from their side to return it back. Again, this month, I was charged a late fees even though hudson FORGOT to return me back the 15$ late fees from last month. I expressed my situation and was told' I have been penalized for not paying the amount'. 4. The maintenance people keep passing the buck on each other and it takes an average of 6-8 phone calls to get a simple thing like your washing machine replaced on time. 5. Recently, few guys broke into the apartment lobby and destroyed the TV and the furniture. Food delivery guys continue to come right up to your apartment door without your knowledge as neither the concierge nor the front door security doors can stop them. I am convinced that I am probably not safe and just paying 50 $ a month for no benefit to me. I have had a really bad experience with this apartment complex. I have lived in 3 apartment complexes before but this is the first time that I see so much chaos and disorganization in this organization.

Building management requires you to jump through hoops and hurdles for everything. Moving one piece of furniture can only be done at specific times and with approval. Sub leasing requires essentially the approval process of a lease, notarized by everyone in the apartment (better have good roommates), and 2 weeks processing time. The gym equipment broke and their response was "its not our responsibility, it was here when we bought the building". They also advertise free breakfast but it always runs out before the time its supposed to go until. Most the doorman are nice but that is the only benefit - management and leasing are atrocious and I would never recommend a friend to live here.

Moved here in 2009 when the building was under different management. Since then it has gone way downhill. Elevator breaks and it isn't fixed for over a week; tenants with loud dogs barking late at night with no care given by management; disgusting laundry facilities that are always broken. There are a few nice staff who work the front desk, but they've hired a few who are more concerned with smoking and chatting then helping residents. Mostly very young (college aged) tenants who don't care about the building or neighbors. The management is unresponsive to any requests and typically rude and hard to deal with. Our apartment was entered without consent and a wall ripped apart this year. No explanation or apology was provided.

I'm moving into a house...yes!!! So I just wanted to drop a note and say thank you to the folks at Hudson Park. for being such great hosts, bosses or whaterver they're called. We have enjoyed our time here and highly recommend the place. I'm so glad I lived in a place that things that break get fixed ASAP!.

FYI, all the reviews prior to this are no longer valid! They changed management earlier in the year and it has been terrible since. The leasing agents are somewhat nice when you are coming for first time, but shortly after could care less about you and your apt problems. They are offering housing to Section A and the building has been full of shady characters. This used to be a great/wonderful place to live, but despite their new logo and marketing it isnt... RENTERS BEWARE!!

This building is fabulous and offers everything. Location is best in city. Before moving I ended up reading all of the reviews on here and I was horrified. But they have actually corrected all the issues.

They're jacking our rent by $400/month after three years of living here, and it's simply not worth it. During our time here, they raised the rent but took away amenities. They also don't let you eat or drink on the rooftop deck, rendering it largely useless. The laundry machines are not particularly well maintained. The thing that I haven't seen posted here is that, in certain parts of the building, your living room and bedroom face into a complex on West 97th Street called the "Yale Hotel," which appears to be a glorified halfway house (Google it). It's bad enough that privacy's limited, but it's worse when the people staring in aren't terribly stable themselves. On the brightside, the concierge staff and super are lovely human beings. But I think you can do better for the money.

I lived here two years and my daughter and I were very happy and felt safe. Managment, esp maintainace, was excellent and every agreement made on my lease was fulfilled. I left my apt clean, just as I found it, and got a full refund on my deposit. I would keep in mind that all leases are negotiable. Esp at the time of resigning. Maybe they don't want you to know that, but they are. So don't fall for the rental prices given to you in writting.
