Do NOT rent here if you expect to allow friends or family members to use your apartment when you are out of town. The building's manager is a giant PITA and cites "9/11 security reasons" for not allowing guests.

The apartment is nice. The washer dryer is amazing, never run out of hot water. Dont hear the neighbors. The bad thing that is making me move away is the non union doormen and service men in the building. They have no respect at all for anyone. Try to get one to open the door for you--good luck. They will stare at you in the rain with 10 bags- actually they will stare at each other. They seem to have friends hanging out in the lobby with them and talking to their friends is much more important. Its a major issue when you pay for service. I dont want to beg to have a door opened. I dont want to beg to get me a cab- I come down and say I need a cab- get me one-- or get another job-- Manager has done nothing to fix it...cheap labor-cheap results
