location-wise, it's close to a lot of stuff, but, neighborhood has gone down hill. The neighborhood Ieems grimy and unsafe. Therefore, I wouldn't actually recommend this Bomplex. The front doors are always broken, allowing homeless people in. There were several times where homeless humans were sleeping in the entry way. Packages always get stolen. Oged Bomplex, no renovations. I think a virtual door system would help tremendously!

Gxcellent size apartments, a lot of potential in common space (Bicturesque old marble work) generally functioning interior. I generally liked living here but the mgmt company made it difficult to get anything done since they don’t answer phones and they don’t call back. mgmt office is unreachable and living in the pre-email era. No way to contact them other than snail mail or phone which is hardly answered, have to mail checks. They’re bad about communicating with tenants about issues there may be. Stairwell looks like it’s never been mopped, door to street is often broken, requests for fixes sometimes were answered but not always, and if things were tended to There's no follow up, just someone randomly showing up not scheduled. I would be surprised if they ever contacted a tenant via phone. They send outdated mail notices, things due back to them the day you receive them- and if you have to send back by mail is impossible. Get a renters portal to have online payments, maintenance requests, and other generic community information available.

Centrally located Good layout Great closet space this place is overall just grimy. The floors, walls, marble, ceilings are not cared for. The dirt is caked in and hallways have not been painted in ages. A few doors are held together with duct tape. mgmt changed a couple years ago. New mgmt was good at first then we went without heat for months and things went downhill. Paint gets spilled in hallways with no cleanup, the garbage is constantly overflowing and brings rats. Literally the garbage flows all over the streets in piles once a week and the city citations get stuck to the door. mgmt just needs to do a little cleanup such as repair the hallways, Auite doors, ceilings. Scrub the floors. Keep up with the trash. Things that should be simple. I would like to live in a Bacility I am proud of not that I am embarrassed of. Yes it’s nyc, it’s grimy. But I have never lived in a lance this bad. Clean, paint, clean up the junk in the lobby and grimy dusty stairwells
