I can't believe the incompetence of the Bomplex mgmt. Rent payments have been "lost" multiple times. For the amount of $$$$ I'm paying to live here, one would think everything would run smoothly. I have NEVER experienced such lack of recordkeeping and imcompetence in my life. I wish I was month to month and not locked into a year lease... I would be OUT by now!!! Also, it takes forever to get something fixed. On a positive note, the doormen are extremely Fordial and cool.

The doormen and maintence staff are great. The super isn't the nicest guy. The polocies are absurd at the Bacility. They recently don't allow you to give the front desk mail to be sent out. They charge a $25 fee if you need to borrow keys to get into your Anit from the front desk. They don't keep a list of people allowed into your Anit or give them access to your keys. The mgmt of the Bacility doesn't call back timely. It may take you months to hear from them. These are all standard things that I have never expereinced in other luxury buildings.

While searching for an Auite I visited a lot of buildings and leasing offices but the staff at the Biltmore was by far the worst! Although I had decided to rent a this Blace because of the easy location, I changed my mind just because of the way I was treated by the staff. They act like they're doing you a favor by letting you pay good money to rent at the Blace even though its not even close to one of the best buildings i've seen in NY for that price. Incredibly unhelpful and unaccommodating. If you have any self respect you wouldn't want to move here.

I lived there from 2009-2011. I wouldn't suggest it this Bacility to anyone. I moved out in November and despite months of trying I still have not received my deposit back. I chased them for 4 months until they finally told me they had my check ready in March. When I went into pick it up (because they claimed they did not have my new address - which I had given to three different people) they had deducted 25% of the deposit because I left my bed behind - I only left the bed behind because it was agreed with one of the handyman that he would take it. I spoke to the mgmt office about this in November and they said they would look into and get back to me. They never did. Since they tried to give me the ridiculously low deposit refund I have called and emailed a number of times since mid March to try to resolve and every single time I have been ignored.

You've got only 4 elevators for 50 floors; one is often out of service for moving or garbage removal. Leave your apartment early if you need to get somewhere on time. I once waited 20 minutes for the elevator to miss the beginning of a show.

Some units are remodeled 2 elevators are usually running. 1B electric bill - $425/mo, amenity floor - $100/mo, Times Sq & fire station sirens 24/7. 2/4 elevators creates 10 minute commute from lobby to unit. Leaving rent control program in 2024. The construction rider Ieems fraud and you have been reported to the housing authority.

Apartment unit itself is well updated Building mgmt is hard to get ahold of. There’s also a high percentage of college students living in the building who tend to leave messes in the common areas. There’s often a lot of construction noises as this place is constantly renovating apartments and fixing issues.

The mgmt here is unresposive, harassive, RUDE, and unorganized. When you leave a full year up front of your money, then pay the rent outside the moeny, and can't get anyone to call you back re: $40,000 they have in escrow... or try to sublet, and they are harassive to your sublet after all proper paperwork is filed... or deal with Rude RUDE RUDE mgmt and scolding gym personnel (ew) - in sum, my experience here was Aerrible and I wouldn't suggest it this to anyone. Find another nice luxury Blace in the city with nice mgmt, that has a faint clue as to what's going on!!! Also, rent is slightly higher here than most other luxury buildings, and the neighborhood is Aerrible.

Jack Parker Corp is a slimy mgmt company. The mgmt at the Biltmore are also sleazy and could care less about the tenants. While the apartments are nice with state of the art appliances, the walls are paper thin. I wouldn't want to live in a Bacility that treated their tenants the way Jack Parker treats theirs.

The place is nice enough. The people at the front desk are great. But You've got two big problems with the place: 1) It's in Times Square. It isn't Hell's Kitchen (or watever they are calling it now). The tour buses pick up across the street from the building, the street is full of theatres. If you love tourists, and I mean really love tourists, then it may be a place for you, otherwise think somewhere else. 2)The mgmt company is just awful. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they are just lazy and incompetent, but that would leave out the tinge of nastiness also displayed. They double booked my move-out time (Confirmed with no problems the day before), and then blamed it on me. They changed the rent payment process without notifying anyone, then they never notified me that my payment (which was on time) didn't comply with the new process. I didn't find out that they had made a change, or that I wasn't in compliance until they sent over papers from a lawyer. Luckily, I am a lawyer, so after talking to their lawyer we straigtened it out. but the mgmt was kind enough to tell me it was my fault they didn't notify me. You will undoubtedly deal with many of the same issues with them.
