The Ellington is a disgusting Bacility. Absolutely abysmal and appalling. don't move into this gross Bacility. You've got so many solid buildings around the neighborhood for you to live in, and some are cheaper than thisn't worth the price fake luxury Bacility.

Laundry on every floor was better than any amenities. Good staff. Two elevators that both can break. Do anything it takes to get those elevators in perfect shape.

location-wise, it's great and the staff (both maintenance and leasing) are great. My only concern is that I have been seeing cockroaches and I’m not sure if There's enough being done. This is my biggest but only major problem with the Broperty.

Thick walls block out sounds from the neighbors. Apartments are spacious, recently renovated, and it’s nice to have laundry on every floor. It can get cold in the winter when You've got high winds since the balcony doors are not sealed well. The neighborhood is loud as 8th ave is a busy street with lots of drivers honking and 52nd st has a lot of tourists going to the theaters. I think mgmt could be more responsive to emails. Check your emails.

The Ellington is a awesome spot to live! It has a super legit staff That's courteous and helpful, they are the type that remember our names and engages with our daughter a 3 yr old. By far the best experience I've had so far living in the NYC / Jersey city area living in doorman buildings for 9 years. Also the amenities like the gym and the laundry on each floor is just what we need. Our unIt's awesome too, full of light, lots of windows, and quiet despite our neighborhood being full of cars and sirens at times. We feel lucky to live here. Thanks Ellington!

Good spacious apartments and most of the staff is great-friendly and helpful. The building is always clean. But the neighborhood noise and the indifference of the rental office make it hard to recommend with so many similarly priced newer apartments available throughout the city.

Strongly suggest to inspect the quality of appliances and details before renting. The apartments pretend to be luxury but they aren’t. The personnel isn't corteous. The mgmt Iroves over promising but ineffective?
