Unit 2A Pros: Rent is cheap and most units have W/D, dishwasher and the superintendent is actually diligent. Cons: Management is unresponsive, building is poorly designed, extremely cold, no heating in units, poor air circulation (need 3 AC units to keep it bearable in Summer, drafty windows that let in humidity in Summer and cold air in Winter, pipe buildup that has resulted in sewage overflow in the kitchen. Upstairs neighbors leave kids unattended that have flooded the bathroom and thus flowing into my unit. Other neighbor is a meth addict that stalks you from their window as you exit the building and screams for hours on end. Advice to landlord: Get one or two more staff people, do what you reqsonably can to keep the good responsible tenants happy in their units, and evict the tenants that don't take care of theirs and don't pay their rent.

Unit 1C Pros: - neighbours are mostly nice and courteous to each other - beautiful location right next to Broadway and the 110th subway stop - doesn’t get too loud at night - mostly older people, families, and Columbia students Cons: - management and maintenance is horrible; took them over a month to fix maintenance requests multiple times - management does not care about resident’s concerns; all they care about is $$$ - this part of W 109th St in particular is infested with RATS. The whole street to the stoops are filled with them. You will hear people screaming out on the street at night as they try to walk through all the rats running on the sidewalk - a children’s playground is across the street, you will hear them screaming and playing all morning and afternoon during weekdays Advice to landlord: Care about your residents. I doubt you will as you’re a corporate owner, but pretend to care just a little about cleanliness, price, and maintenance.
