Living at The Melar has been a wonderful experience. The building itself is well-maintained, the location is unbeatable, and the amenities are solid, but what truly sets it apart is the exceptional staff. From the front desk to management and maintenance, everyone is genuinely kind, attentive, and highly professional. They go above and beyond to make residents feel welcome and cared for, and it shows in the day-to-day atmosphere of the building. Whether it sorting out questions about leasing, or handling packages, coordinating access, or just greeting you with a smile, the team made daily life smoother and more pleasant. In a city where service can be hit or miss, The Melar stands out as a place where people take pride in what they do — and that makes all the difference. Highly recommend.

I have lived in the Melar for two and half years and so far my experience in this place has been very good. I am happy with the location, the management, the maintenance , the staff, the neighbors, the neighbourhood, the convenience, the safety. I cannot say the rent is cheap. But that is New York.

All the staff are friendly & professional they go above & beyond to help. I love my residence at the Melar. I have great neighbors and I adore all the staff. One of the best thing about Melar is community gathering at the lobby or 4th floor. The events are appreciated

Thoroughly enjoyed my 4 years of living at The Melar! My wife and I always felt right at home and the staff was incredibly helpful, kind and warm to us during our time there. Frank was incredible whenever we needed help fixing anything in our unit, and the doormen were exceptional. Andy, Brian, Charlie and Joey were there for just about our entire time at the building and it was extremely tough to leave them! The leasing staff was helpful as we needed to get someone to sublet our place early so shoutout to Christian and Kimanie for all the help they were during a stressful time. 5 out of 5.

i very much wanted a community where there are events that bring residents together. Melar has this and it means you can say hello to people. I also find yoga ( and past exercise classes) so important for the same reason

Wonderful staff and location is great. Amenities are all 'for pay' so look out for that. The building does a great job setting up events and tries to build a community vibe, kind of unique for a rental. We really enjoy living here so far, just wish the amenities were includes in this price point.

Very well run and maintained building. The staff is friendly and responsive. Repairs are made promptly. The big windows and high ceilings give the apartments a large and open feel. I highly recommend the building.
