easy location near the L train and Union Square Station, positioned in the East Village Washer/dryers available in most (if not all) units throughout the building Contemporary appliances Reasonably competitive pricing Yearly rent hikes of approximately 30% Excessively loud area, particularly if your apartment overlooks 14th Street Predominantly college-aged occupants - many fresh graduates and active students Persistent rodent and mouse infestation that receives sluggish attention from mgmt. Our apartment dealt with rodent issues constantly. Heating systems functioned inadequately during cold months (Initially problematic, resolved after several weeks of complaints) Hot water supply would sometimes become depleted across the entire building for full days (generally restored within a day) mgmt should enforce stricter pest control measures and demonstrate greater accountability when residents report pest and heating concerns
