This horrible building has been disrupting an entire NYC block since 10/29/21 that a "temporary" generator that pumps noxious fumes and emits excessive noise 24/7. I recently used a decibel reader to test noise level and it exceeds that of an airplane cabin at take off. This management company shows absolutely no regard for quality of life, and you should not live there. "Luxury" building? Not so much.

Only satisfactory. Building needs redecorating. The carpets are old and filthy, the wallpaper is disgusting and the white tiles in front of each elevator and the entire lobby are filthy and the grout is almost black and looks moldy.

I'm so angry at this place that it has led me to write my first review ever. I kid you not, this building will be causing the premature deaths of its tenants and everyone else on the block. A "Sunbelt" Generator, about the size of a tractor trailer, is parked directly in front of main entrance for the last 6 months. It is the current source of electricity because there was a big electrical fire in the fall. The exhaust coming from it is clogging the entire street and block. Since there is no place for the diesel exhaust to go because the street is so narrow and surrounded by buildings, the exhaust is entering into the Renoir apartments and all surrounding buildings and businesses. It is challenging to breath if you're outside or have the window open. I have noticed breathing issues myself - the exhaust has found its way inside. The heavy smell of diesel is a constant as well. I won't be surprised if the management, Greystar, are hit with lawsuits in the future from this. I tell ya, it's as bad as you can imagine. I won't be commenting on anything but this generator because nothing else about this place matters at this point. Now that I got the life threatening part out of the way, let me mention the noise: Imagine a heavy tractor trailer (or two) idling outside your window for 6 months straight. It vibrates every room. It's a white noise that digs into your every thought. It keeps me up every night. I have to leave my apartment for some peace and quiet...imagine that! To sum it all up: if you plan on living a long, healthy, peaceful life you should avoid this place at all costs - Don't even attempt to view the apartments, the exhaust will find you!

Thank you Nancy for always asking how your tenant feels, always updating us with some new events and organizing some interesting events for the tenant. Yuppy hour, tea time, yoga hour and many interesting events! Makes us like family and people to know each other! Ermal Marku is the best super in the building, what ever we need he immediately helps, such a great assist for the company! Always greet us at the door and his team are such a nice employees. If I have any heavy box, they always help me to bring to the elevator! Thank you to all making us happy! Thanks Ana

Have been running a giant diesel generator from outside, directly in front of the main entrance for nearly 6 months. It’s near impossible to live in or anywhere near this building. You cannot open the windows, as it is a breathing hazard from the exhaust. The generator is uncomfortably loud making it difficult to work from home and also sleep. Since it started with an electrical fire in the basement (real safe!) , no progress has been made to fix the issue. So the entire building currently relies on this monstrosity to keep the lights on. What’s most infuriating? Watching the generator maintenance workers come by each week to refill with diesel, install new chimney, and any other maintenance required to keep generator operational… really, anything and everything to keep the dumb thing running, but the building mgmt can’t even attempt to fix the issue. The only peace and quiet you get is from the brief 5 minutes it’s powered down each week for maintenance. Want to see something really nasty? The top of the generator is completely stained with black soot( or whatever it is) that is most likely finding its way into the lungs of the tenants and everyone else around it. Let’s not forget the poor tree that became a casualty because of this generator.
