Unit #LL Pros: apartment was spacious, that's all. Cons: There's rats outside the building, inside the building, everywhere. In the winter - my apartment heat wasnt working I had to bug the management for more than a month and a half before anything was done. Hot water keeps going out and they do nothing about it. Advice to landlord: Sell this to some management who actually knows what they are doing.

Pros: Location. Near Columbia campus Cons: Rodent infested, owner do not care about maintenance, dirty, not safe, no elevator

Pros: Good location next to columbia and other amenities Cons: incredibly non transparent rental and renovation process, gave us our apartment 10 DAYS LATE, put a "sight unseen clause" despite us viewing the apartment. Washer and dryer in unit had been advertised but it was broken the whole time and they did not compensate us for it. lots of cockroaches, poor finishings, bad renovation, bad building maintenance (our doorbell was broken for a long time and they would not fix it). We had a mold infestation and the super came into our apartment and said he would just be fixing the smoke detector (that does not work) he then proceeded to paint over the mold, splashing paint over all of our bathroom belongings.

Unit 2D Pros: The size of apartment, in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher Cons: So many roaches and mice. Rats surrounding and possibly in building. Lobby and common areas not kept in good condition. Bad paint jobs throughout building and in apartment and some with possible lead contamination. Packages opened and stolen. Apartment didn't have gas for 3 months so were left to use electric burners. Slow and unresponsive building management. Advice to landlord: Clean up and renovate the building. Hire new building super. Actually deal with pest problems. Upgrade apartment appliances.
