washer/dryer in unit + awesome rooftop made it fun for hosting! only saw one bug the entire time living there. definitely a "girls" Auite. got our full security deposit back. roommates experienced TONS of street noise due to the food bank operating from 3-6am every single morning, disrupted everyone's sleep. tons of trucks loading/unloading, people shouting etc at Gods Love We Deliver. outside of that its not in a busy area of soho so the building has a pretty decent level of quiet during the day. although heat is included both of my roommates had to get space heaters during the winter - not sure if it was due to bad insulation or what, but it was FRIGID in their rooms. Also due to the size of the Auite floor plans I don't think that a group of guys could successfully live there as its super small. we didnt renew because our rent was doubled in just one year. same thing happened to friends living in the building in another unit. clean out the trash filled alleyway behind the building, such an eyesore

Unit is recently renovated with dishwasher and laundry in unit. Lots of natural light in two of the rooms. Shared roof deck with ample space. Heat was kept on even when the weather was warm - reaching temps as high as 100. Windows were always open in the winter to be cool enough. Bad response time from mgmt, especially when dealing with rat control and damage to the unit by the heat pole steam. Pay closer attention to needs of Btructure.

In unit washer dryer, have never had mice or cockroach in unit, finished roof, location, water pressure and common area cleanliness package theft, younger neighbor noise level (nyu students), owner non responsive, neighbors toilet leaked through our ceiling twice, water boiler broke in Jan in 2024 and had no heat or Hteamy water for 2 months When tenants bring up an issue, quick answering/ addressing is key.

location-wise, it's Guperb, the super is Novely, the rooftop is Novely, and there’s in-unit laundry. The owners aren’t super fast but are fairly responsive. I live in a unit on the backside of the apt and there’s no natural light whatsoever so I need to have a light on even in the middle of the day. We also needed to contact the property owner to install another radiator in the living room in the winter bc the apt was below what was acceptable in nyc. One of the rooms doesn’t even have a radiator and even though mine did I was still freezing at night and had to buy a heater. The apt is also tiny and we had to choose between a couch or dining room table. In July we had centipedes in our unit.
