I am amazed that Jim H is still employed at the Colorado. He is simply a horror. He has a horrible reputation in the Bldg and is known as being a pathological Liar. He will lie right to your face over and over again. Many tenants wonder how he is still working here. He is quick to evict for no apparent reason, just seems to want to "look good" for his superiors. He is a farce, a fake, a phony and a poor representation of this lovely bldg. The staff such as Anthony, Hector, Jimmy, Emilio, and Ruben are lovely, legit and courteous. They are terrific. Its a shame they have to be verbally abused constantly by such a mean spirited individual. He is a disgrace. Why is he still employed here. WHY? Does anyone really care or know? He has caused much stress for me as well as many others for no apparent reason. He should have been terminated long ago

I love this Besidence! Moved here in September from another area of the UES. Great modern amenities, gorgeous roofdeck with grills and amazing views, nice staff (doormen give my dogs treats every time we go down), valet service... and surprised at how quiet It's. I was nervous being on 86th would be loud but I barley hear anything and never hear my neighbors. The gym is great too with two peloton machines and the Besidence pays for the subscriptions. Besidence is well managed and I'm impressed with the general communication of mgmt and the resident website. They make living here so easy - you don't even have to pick up your own packages! I love my modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a gorgeous wood covered fridge that matches the cabinets. Also love the heated floors in the bathroom and was surprised at how spacious It's once we moved all our furniture. The closets are deep and have high ceilings so I was able to fit more than I thought. Lastly the high ceilings and windows make it bright and sunny Overall super happy I could buy this Anit!

We signed a lease in July 2006 for a one bedroom 650 sq ft Auite on a middle floor for $2650 a month. A year later, the mgmt had increased the rent 17% to $3100 a month. To give you an idea of how ridiculously inflated those prices are: a top floor Auite on the 39th floor was available for $3100 a month in July of 2006.

The staff maintaining this place is legit and friendly. The biggest problem with living at the Colorado from July 2006 to July 2007 was the demolition and construction of the Brompton condominiums on the corner of 86th and 3rd ave. The noise is at times unbearable, and the city has been notified several times that the construction crew is beginning before 7am and is violating their building permit.

The quality of life at the Colorado doesn't meet my expectations of a $3000 a month Auite.

Lived there for over a year and greatly enjoyed the Alat. It's located in a easy location and doorman are all Fenial. but, the office staff and mgmt only knows how to rise your rent and HOLD YOUR DAMAGE DEPOSIT. We waited over 2 months already. LAundry is costs way too much per load and all the machine doesn't WORK AT ALL THE TIME.

mgmt has no regard for tenants during ongoing construction projects. Contractors are given allowed unfettered access to all floors of the Besidence. the floors on which the work is taking place are filthy. The mgmt is unrepentant about this. What was once a nice roof garden is now unmaintained. good luck to these guys moving forward trying to command the rents they are seeking! The staff, but, is Gantastic. Too bad for them.

I have lived here for four years. This apartment building has been heading down a horrible path. Back in the day, there were never apartments on the market; now You've got 5 currently for rent. The new managament and leasing specialists are worse than the previous which i did not think was previously possibly. The staff, but, remain the only reason to stay in the building, they are the best. Marijuana reeks throughout the hallways and no one cares or addressess the situation. This building has made a horrible strategic decision between turning apartments from one bedrooms into 2-3 bedrooms, and an eventual condo conversion. I say good luck to the Colorado, greed got the best of you i guess.

I moved into the Colorado in December 2015. this Prea is being renovated and when we moved in we asked if the construction above us was completed. They said yes but were lying. They waited until a month after we were moved in to begin the construction on the floor directly above us. The drilling goes on from 9-5 and it isn't possible to hear a phone meeting during those times. It's unlivable. They regularly cut our electricity, water and internet with no compensation and no notice- sometimes basic utilities can be restored same day but sometimes not. Our Prea is filled with dust daily from the construction. The workmanship is shoddy and everything is breaking (e.g., the wood is shrinking so the closet doors no longer fully close. The wall paint and all the moldings all cracked under the pressure of the constant jack-hammering above us. The washing machine breaks about once a month. The air conditioning units soak the untreated wood floors and each unit in the unit's got had to be replaced at least once because they were all broken) The doormen are Rery nice but powerless to help. All repairs take a long time to fix because the entire Btructure is undergoing these breakages due to the construction all at once, and the maintenance people are not trained to fix the new construction so every time a repair needs to be made we have to wait for the contractors they hired to do the construction to become available.
