Pros: Super central and if you are facing the alley it truly is quiet and peaceful. Loved being on the F and all things considered it was spacious. Cons: Cockroaches like CRAZY crazy. We tried to manage it ourselves and the pest control guy came every 2 weeks for the entire year and we basically had to throw away everything in the kitchen when we moved. The owner claimed the person below us was a hoarder who refused the pesticides so MAYBE that was the issue- but it was truly inhabitable

Pros: The property managers were very kind and extremely responsive. In fact, they allowed flexibility with our leases etc. The stairs are very wide, so easy to move. The location is prime! Cons: There was a roach problem, that despite all tries wouldn't go! Depending on which street your facing and where your apartment is located, it is extremely loud (facing Houston St.) Advice to landlord: Gut renovate to remove the roaches

Pros: Super is great and management company is very responsive Cons: Packages stolen, management was very confrontational Advice to landlord: Dont do illegal things to your tenants

Unit 26 Pros: Jose the super is super attentive and helpful with maintenance big and small and he keeps the building in good shape (it is rather old so he does the best considering its condition). I've never had issues with packages being stolen and the property management is pretty responsive. There is also an exterminator every other month or so. Cons: On the 5th floor, the heat did not kick in so there were some pretty cold days.
