Unit 2W Pros: Units are large Cons: The landlord who owns this building is one of the worst in the city. He does not answer nor return phone calls, and does not acknowledge issues such as building safety, damage, etc. We did not receive a dime of our very large security deposit back after moving out (the apartment was in perfect condition with no issues) and are seeking legal counsel as he either lies about why he is not returning it or does not reply. During our time living there, there were rats in the stairwells, our ceiling fell through due to a leak that was not taken care of, we were robbed while we slept due to the front door of the building not locking properly (this was never fixed), and homeless individuals slept inside our building outside of our apartment door. The building is located above a pawn shop, and the street noise is unbearable as the windows don't seal properly. The owner of this building will rob you of thousands of dollars and does not care about the safety and cleanliness nor the tenants who live there. Stay away. Advice to landlord: Return your tenants security deposits and sell the building to someone fit to manage it.

Pros: Apartments are big Cons: Literally everything else - mice in the trash area, trash area stench fills the staircase, front door to building constantly broken so anyone can get in, heat not turned on when it gets cold, used needles in the doorway you need to tiptoe around, elevators often broken so you are forced to take the trash filled stairs. Just don’t no matter how sweet the deal is

Pros: This is the single worst landlord in the country. Watch out for any of his buildings. Cons: We had roaches, homeless people sleeping in the stairwells, leaks that he refused to fix, the front door of the building never locked, elevator would get stuck every day and you have to call the police no exaggeration. Advice to landlord: Should be in prison
