Unit 6B Pros: - Super is very responsive does a great job with what he's given. He keeps the lobby very clean. - Fantastic location. This is not a doorman building but the building next door has the kindest manager and doormen who look out for the tenants in this building. Adds a nice extra level of security - though I've never felt unsafe in this area in general. - Really close to the park and being halfway to Park Ave is a great perk in terms of it being a bit quieter. - Apartments themselves are quite large and really nice for the price! I honestly love the unit itself but will not be renewing my lease because of the elevator and pest issues. Cons: Look, this is technically an "elevator building" but I have lived here for 2 years and have been stuck in the elevator twice and it has been broken for the majority of time I've been here. They keep completing little fixes so that it works for a few days and then is down again. I also keep a crystal clean apartment and have the exterminator come once a month but in the summer we do have large cockroaches. I assume its from other tenants who are dirty and there's nothing you can do about that but this is the first apartment I've had cockroaches in and it's really frustrating. Lastly, the trash situation (which is maybe illegal..) is not great. There are no bins so we put our trash bags into a closet in the hallway. The super does the best he can at removing but sometimes they build up quickly and will spill into the hallway. I'm certain this is part of the pest issue and I really wish the building would simply offer bins on the first floor where there is a clear space for trash. It would be a bit more inconvenient for tenants but I would much prefer avoiding trash bags sitting basically outside my door. Advice to landlord: Please please please add garbage bins and do whatever needs to be done to fix the elevator once and for all. The small fixes that barely work make everyone feel like the elevator is unsafe.

Pros: The super is really nice. Low noise levels Cons: The management is truly awful. They don’t answer the phone, they don’t respond to emails, they don’t care about you or your problems. They won’t help you with anything. So unprofessional in the few times I was able to interact with them Advice to landlord: Get new management
