Pros: The doormen are wonderful, know you by name, give feeling of community Cons: To get to the laundry room occupants on many floors have to take 2 elevators-in such a large building having a second laundry room would be nice

Pros: As someone who recently moved to this building during the COVID pandemic, I am truly enjoying living here! As soon as I walk in, I love being greeted by the kind workers! My one bedroom space is very clean, spacious enough for a NYC building(especially the kitchen space) and the amenities are very nice! I enjoy studying in the lounge, relaxing at the rooftop on the weekend & working out in the gym! Cons: Can’t really complain tbh, i love this building! Advice to landlord: Keep up the great work!

Pros: They were really accommodating and moving in and out was seamless. Doormen were so friendly. Shared laundry and rarely any issues with that. Gym was decent. Rooms were clean and lots of natural light Cons: 3/4 into the lease the management company sold 14 floors to Sonder (an AirBnb like company) and that included our floor. We unfortunately had to move out at the end of our lease but our remaining time there we were dealing with people in and out of the building and treating the floors like a literal hotel (leaving food out in the hallway, etc.) Advice to landlord: Please don’t turn the rest of this beautiful building over to Sonder. Be more communicative with your actual tenants.

Pros: High ceilings. Nice doormen / women Cons: You live in a hotel. Metro loft only cares about the short term guests. Not tenants. People can rent by the night and have access to all the amenities. Everyone living here wants to leave. Landlord doesn’t even have to disclose it.. horrible company They don’t even tell us if these guests have to follow any Covid protocol. It’s horrible Advice to landlord: Care about your tenants. Get rid of Sonders or at least offer some transparency with your tenants. We’ve been begging for more communication and understanding

Pros: Landmarked building, nice apartment interiors, quiet at night, nice laundry room, great location Cons: Elevators are always down, small roof deck without bbq, it’s an absolute maze needing to take 3 different elevators to access roof, concierges mostly seem grumpy, sound transfers through air vents from other apartments, Advice to landlord: Please fix the elevators
