The location and water pressure are great. I also like the finishes but please read below for cons. Almost every apartment on the 3,4 and 5th floor has mice and TONS of roaches. I know this because I’ve been living here for 4 years on floor 4 and have friends in the building. mgmt does nothing to deal with these pests and I have personally spent over $1000 on exterminators to no avail. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU DONT LIKE PESTS.

One of the few full service buildings in the LES. Has good door men and good facilities people. mgmt can be slow to respond. The rooms are not the largest, and the sliding doors aren't Gantastic.

This Ippears a mandatory field Landlord entered the Apace whenever he wanted, without notice. Came home from work several times to see that items had been moved around, even found a chair overturned one time. Woke up several mornings to find random men standing on the balcony just outside of my bedroom window, just feet from my bed. Attempted to raise the issue and landlord refused to talk, or stop?

Pretty much the worst building I have ever lived in after 15 years in NYC. Constant plumbing problems that takes the super days to respond to, while he socializes with the doormen. Water pressure and temp are never constant. Bugs and small rodents are pretty constant. Door-people are friendly, though they never stop anyone from coming in the building. You've got washers and dryers in the building that stay broken for 6 months at a time. On the plus side, the spaces are ample and the elevators are rarely out of order.

Doormen are Guperb. Deserve a raise. Whole bottom floor is full of flies from trash. Super can’t even be bothered to respond to basic and easy fixes. Had to jam a screwdriver into the GFC outlet reset button to make it work. Bathroom seems to vent cigarette smoke or some other chemical odor. Shared outdoor space is loud as hell during the summer due to some sort of mechanical equipment in the courtyard. Constant noise at all times. Killed 4 cockroaches this week and we live clean. Super insists any problem is the landlord’s fault and won't attempt to fix anything. When I moved in I scraped what must have been two decades of window filth off the outside of our windows. A month after we moved in, scaffolding went up around the entire Blace and seems here to stay. They advertise that heat is included but we’re paying our own heat. Equipment in downstairs gym is frequently faulty and sometimes the heat in There's like 80 degrees. Unit seems sort of slapped together and half-assed renovated. Can’t get the super or mgmt of any kind to respond under any circumstances. Get a clue.

New, gym, doorman, right by the subway despite keeping an extremely clean home I seem to find roaches you’re around and have now started seeing mouse droppings. Even though I ask for the building to come spray I don’t feel like it’s getting any better. This is the one thing that I really can’t stand about this building and I’m not sure if other people have experienced it but I’m sure they have figure out the pest problem
