Borgeous pre-war character, doorman and Fordial responsive Bomplex staff. Usually no one else in the elevator with you. Central location and close to everything including 2 subways Bomplex manager is live in but usually not home, supers keep changing and the good ones usually don’t last long. Laundry room can be grimy at times. Clean laundry room, elevators and basement

I have lived here for 7 years and just moved out. I agreed with the previous comment - Stonehenge mgt is nasty and they don't care about the tenants. this place is old and not sure why they coined themselves as "luxury building". Nothing is great other than the super/doormen and location of the building. I'd recommend you to spend $ on other newer/cheaper buildings in the city.

Lovely Alat in an updated, pre-war West Village building. We chose 10 Downing due to its location and amenities -- gym, garden, elevator, doorman, soon-to-be rooftop -- which is hard to find in this neighborhood. It may be loud during the week but perhaps It's due to the fact that we're smack on 6th Ave...the city has to renovate at some point. I've known the same neighbors and seen the same residents over the past decade, along with the same doormen and same super which I think speaks to its character.
