Pros: Modern, bike storage in the back, big apartments, nice finishes. Cons: Management isn't super responsive. The sinks don't drain water very well so you have to wipe down your surfaces often or else gunk will grow. The ovens you just set to a temp and pray it works, there's no sensors or displays. Advice to landlord: Fix the sink geometry, new ovens, respond quicker to complaints.

Pros: Never seen a pest here and the building is well maintained. Everything in my apartment functions well. Quick responses from management Cons: Washer/driers are often faulty and run by a 3rd party. Ive often had packages stolen. The fridges are also a bit cheap

Pros: Overall unit design and layout are lovely, building looks beautiful from the outside, public areas are always kept clean, good location, good access to L,M,J trains Cons: Building focused: SO overpriced and management SUCKS. They take no accountability and responsiveness does not even equate to the bare minimum. For 90% of my lease duration, there has been ongoing issues with package theft on a weekly basis. Not only is this a massive inconvenience, but also clearly unsettling to live in this type of atmosphere where this is so frequent, prevalent, and easy to do. No compensation to tenants and even more disappointingly, no effort to resolve the issue. Ie, upping security measures, changing codes, showing any type of concern with preventative measures. etc. Unit focused: balcony door doesn't lock, which is extremely unsafe considering neighboring balconies are all attached to each other. So just have to hope and pray you don't live next to a psycho. It's known within the building that unit's main doors can be opened with a credit card. Lovely. Kitchen window leaks every time it rains and was told someone would be sent to fix it...still waiting on that. Best of luck to whoever moves in next. Absolute joke to be expecting $3500 for a 1br with this lack of interest to care about tenants rights to feel like they can live safely and comfortably. Misleading and straight up lies on Streeteasy when stated that this is a doorman building - certainly is not. Advice to landlord: If you want to charge luxury prices, you need to provide tenants with luxury customer service and actually care about the people putting money in your pocket. .

Unit 5D Pros: The building seemed largely secure, paying rent was easy, good location, big decks on many units, minimal rent increases. Cons: Getting a hole fixed in the roof of the apartment I lived in took months, repeated leaks caused mold issues, management was not always particularly helpful, heating/cooling units were unreliable.

Pros: The balcony Big bedrooms Gym in the basement Laundry room Responsive management Cons: The parking in the back was sometimes a hassle since people in the neighborhood sometimes blocked the entrance but I guess welcome to Brooklyn Advice to landlord: Keep up your good work

Unit 5A Pros: Nice industrial design. Larger than average balconies. J/M and L nearby. Cons: Single bedroom apartments are upwards of $3000 for a building on a block that is infested with rats. The location of the building sucks. There isn’t a good and complete grocery store close by. I know it’s NY and rats are everywhere but jeez, you can leave the apartment and walk down the street without seeing at least 5 rants within a few feet. The heating and AC systems are inefficient. My electric bill is too high. The price is too much for a building at a location that is below okay. Advice to landlord: Adjust the rent

Unit 1B Pros: - modern finishes - building itself kept very clean - huge windows with lots of natural light - generally quiet street Cons: - super thin walls - some inconsiderate neighbors - poor building safety / package safety - some finishes look nice but are not the best quality Advice to landlord: be more proactive about building security

Unit 5C Pros: - Building is nice - Building is clean - Has an elevator - Has a rooftop - All apartments have balconies -Pet friendly - Washer in dryer in the building - Building has a gym - Bedrooms are spacious Cons: - Management company is not very responsive with maintenance requests. There are maintenance requests I made when I moved in 10 months ago that still have not been resolved. - Packages consistently get stolen in this building - Someone got mugged in the building and the management company did not change the front door code - Management raised the rent in all the units to unreasonable prices Advice to landlord: If you are going to raise prices in your units so drastically, you have to provide better service to your tenants. Maintenance requests should be fulfilled faster and the safety of your tenants should be a priority.

Pros: Gorgeous property, beautifully designed Amazing cleaning crew, building spotless Cons: Management mindset is revenue first not tenant first Building Manager isn’t the friendliest Windows have poor insulation, can hear noise easily from neighbors Door code is shared between buildings; lots of package theft Impossible to get management on phone, email correspondence only Advice to landlord: Be more sensitive to people’s needs and circumstances. If multiple tenants are complaining about the same issues - do something!
