Pros: There’s only 4 apartments Cons: Located right next door to extremely nosey neighbors everyday is a block party with them Sometimes they block the entrance Pest control barely shows up Building super comes in without permission and then gets upset when you call him out for it Advice to landlord: Show some compassion and actually manage the property We shouldn’t have to beg you to clean up mold found in the building

Pros: Cheap, near the grocery store and subway Cons: They put a mentally ill woman into the third bedroom, who creeped me out immediately and created nothing but weird drama starting the day she showed up, and her obvious mental problems drove me out of my home within two months of her arrival AND in the middle of a pandemic (I moved into a one bedroom on the UWS, so it was all for the best, but still.) Building was of no help, wouldn’t reply to about 10 emails I sent, then months after I MOVED OUT they had the nerve to message me and ask where the rent was. What gall. Advice to landlord: Try replying to emails when your tenants send you one, (*cough* Ava *cough*). And you can hear some kind of animals scurrying through the walls, maybe do something about that too.
