Crown Heights along the Eastern Parkway corridor is defined by the grand boulevard — designed by Olmsted and Vaux — with the Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Botanic Garden as anchors. The neighborhood's Caribbean and Hasidic communities have coexisted here for decades, and new restaurants are popping up on Franklin Avenue.
