Pros: My apartment was rent stable, had great amenities for the price (2 bath, 2 bath, laundry in unit, etc), and the space was big! I loved the spacious living room and bathrooms. The super was very responsive too. Cons: As most NYC buildings, the walls are thin, so I would hear my neighbors (one year, we had a neighbor who played the sax at night), and I am sure they heard me and my roommate. Another con was really more when we signed up for the apartment; the management was slow with communication, which made it stressful to try sign (the management had changed now, so I am not sure if this is still as much of a problem). Once lease signed, I have not had to contact the management directly many times, so I had no other problems.

Unit 3G Pros: I liked my actual apartment but that’s it. The apartment isn’t worth the building madness Cons: Building management is absolutely terrible. Avoid the 3rd floor especially. Crazy neighbor and cops were making visits regularly and the entire floor smells like drugs

Pros: Clean, right by a lot of stuff, no pests. Cons: They'll sell you on a roof with accessible grill but it rarely works. They take ages to respond to any issues. Very unreasonable in negotiating anything. Advice to landlord: None.

Pros: Clean modern building, only had to make maintenance calls for super minor issues and when I did response was super quick. Roof is great (when open) and I loved my apt as well. Cons: Annoying that the roof closes at 10, has guest limits, and completely closes for ~5 months of the year in winter. Also annoyed me that the listing made it seem like there is in building bike storage when there really is not (you can park bikes in building next door but its inconvenient to get to and they tried to charge me $50 a month to do so). Massive discount on first years rent (3 months “free”) meant that second year would cost $500+ more a month for a studio and just wasn’t worth it to stay.

Pros: Apartments are new, clean and updated. Great layout and design. Cons: The building management are thieves. They have a third party they use to contract heat and electricity (like their own con Edison) and they charge insane rates and won’t give an explanation of usage. I was charged 50$ for electricity bill when I was only there for one month in a one bedroom apartment. Average electricity is 150-200 for a one bedroom apartment. Advice to landlord: Fire Tiffany Williams and stop overcharging tenants for bill
