Pros: Jakeem does the job of 5 people. Ellerton is very prompt getting repairs done. Cons: Many neighbors are disrespectful. Building should be updated with more painting and cleaner floors. The floors should be tiled not carpeted if you can’t clean them on monthly or bimonthly basis. Doorman should notify residence when a package arrives. Many times we get packages and do not know it was delivered and it is left in an unsecure area if the doorman takes his many breaks. Any packages that arrive over the weekend get locked away when the doorman leaves with no access for the residents to get the package until the following day. Advice to landlord: I think the owners should be more involved in the running of this building. I have never seen anybody from management get in the elevator and go past the lobby floor so how could they know what’s happening throughout the building or the condition of the elevators.

Pros: Cheap rent Friendly workers I live on a quiet floor -they’re always cleaning!:) -once a month exterminator -excellent heat and hot water Cons: -Roaches The trash chute is disgusting. They clean it a lot. It’s the residents that are disgusting. - sometimes it’s difficult to get your package since Lorenzo is never in his spot. Advice to landlord: It might be helpful to have signs posted in English, Spanish and Russian near the trash chute so that people dispose of it properly. Every apartment should get exterminated at least once every 3 months.

Pros: I like the backyard, the building is close to the train which is a plus takes you to straight to Manhattan. Cons: The building is infested with roaches. We have been complaining for a couple of years now. The con is the building looks beautiful on the outside, once you are inside it’s a whole different story. Advice to landlord: Listen to his tenants, at-least meet us half way. This building is getting worse. Roach problems is getting worse. My apartment is falling apart and nothing is being replaced. For the amount of money people are paying for rent we shouldn’t feel like we live in the projects.
