Pros: Great location in a great neighborhood Cons: Very old and run down. Windows are wood framed with single pain of glass. Always cold in the winter, hot in the summer. Hot water would go out a lot, and take a long time to warm up when it wasn’t. Had a lot of roaches. Had either a small rat/very large mouse. Landlord was unresponsive. Always had to reach out multiple times for any issues. Drywall issues throughout the apartment Advice to landlord: Actually invest in the property

Pros: In a great location. Access to the roof. Cons: This building is practically falling apart and the owner is selectively helpful, mostly for small needs… not so helpful for the bigger ones. It is filthy, dark, and smells. The carpets, wallpaper, and paint all need to be redone. In my 2 years there, I had both mice and cockroaches. The water took forever to heat up and sometimes just didn’t. I would avoid living here. Advice to landlord: REDO THE BUILDING TOP TO BOTTOM
