The updated units in this building have an attractive appearance. You'll find stainless steel appliances, beautiful walnut flooring, and modernized bathrooms that preserve the historic charm. The units offer decent square footage (especially for single occupants). The building super is personable and quick to respond to requests. but, the unit I occupied was quite dark with minimal natural light. A partition was added to create an extra bedroom for marketing purposes, which blocked sunlight from reaching the kitchen effectively. The building itself isn'ticeably unkempt and has a bad odor, plus significant pest problems: cockroaches in various sizes, flies, and bedbugs throughout. Despite daily trash removal, cockroaches and flies remain visible in all trash areas. Residents smoke in the corridors and leave cigarette remnants scattered about. The mgmt needs to arrange monthly legit pest control treatments for the entire building!! The corridors and entrance areas need more frequent mopping and cleaning.
